CHOREOGRAPHERS & TEACHERS
TUVIA TISHLER Tuvia has been involved professionally in the area of dance for nearly 35 years. He was a dancer and choreographer for the Karmon Troupe and Gvanim dance groups. He is an accomplished choreographer who conducts several dance sessions in central Israel. Among his many credits are Hatzel Ve'ani, Rosa, Im Rotsim, Mikarov, Horati, Yassu Hachayim, and much more. We are absolutely delighted to have Tuvia joining us for the first time in Canada.
YARON BEN SIMCHON A young choreographer of the new generation of dancers in Israel. Before he became a teacher and a choreographer, Yaron danced for seven years in different dance groups in Israel. Presently he leads the dance group of Petach-Tikvah and teaches a few dance evenings. He will be presenting the latest and greatest hits from Israel. Some of his dances are Belev Kaved, Pitom Kam Adam, Yoshvim Be Bet Kafe, and Ad Sof Hakayitz.
MAURICE PEREZ Dancer, teacher and choreographer for the past 30 years. Originally from Paris, France, Maurice does choreography for theatre and dance groups. He also teaches at dance camps and workshops in the US, Canada, and France. His winning personality and creative talent cause us to appreciate him and join in doing his lovely dances: Le Artsi Be'ahava, Simchat Yerushalaim, Hora Gil, Achat Sha'alti... and his latest He Rokedet and Shir Shir.
ARLENE SEGAL A dance teacher in Montreal for fifteen years, Arlene is known to the Israeli folkdance community all over the world for her spirit, charm, and her wide repertoire of dances. She brings her enthusiasm and attention to detail as a camp teacher and assistant director.
