Workshops throughout the year are taught by master teachers from Israel
and the United States. This past year we hosted workshops with Yaron
Carmel, Danny Uziel, Ayalah Goren-Kadman, Danny Pollock and others.

Our annual Shorashim program over the Labor Day weekend offers three days
of workshops by a major choreographer of Israeli folk dance classics as
well as by master teachers and four nights of parties/marathons with noted
Markidim from Israel and the US as well as a live band. At Shorashim 2002
Seadia Amishai was our guest choreographer, joined by Shimon Mordechai and
Danny Pollock. Evening dance sessions were run by Yaron Meishar, Shimon
Mordechai, Ben Hole and Rob Markowitz. Shorashim 2003 will host guest
choreographer Dani Dassa as well as Ayalah Goren-Kadman in a program
observing the 100th birthday of Rivka Sturman and Danny Pollock teaching
repertoire dances. Evening dance sessions will be run by Ben Hole, Rob
Markowitz and others.
